- Day Trip is a daytime party series! Not so much a festival, but rather lots of mini-sized festivals!
- Day Trip parties are hosted every couple of months or so, and change location each time, so you get to experience all sorts of amazing venues!
- Day Trip is sometimes hosted in Bangkok but other times takes its music revellers to other locations in Thailand. A chance to experience music in nature and see more remote areas of the country!
- Day Trip is hosted by a group of experienced event promoters who run a bunch of other events and festivals around Asia and Europe. These guys know how to throw a party!
- Day Trip events are family friendly! Though they don’t have a dedicated space for them they are welcome!
Tickets to Day Trip events are sold via Megatix! Ticket types and packages change for every event. SOMETIMES OUTSIDE OF BANGKOK
Previous editions have led Day Trippers to locations outside of Bangkok, including a whole weekend away in Amphawa, situated West of the city.
The team behind these joyous excursions usually set up these affairs with meticulous instructions on how to get to the destination and also provide transport to the event (for which you can buy ticktets). So don’t be put off if you have never heard of the location their next event is set in because they always publish competent information to plan your trip.

If there is anything to be said about the food available at Day Trip events is that they always make sure everyone is catered for! This reinforces that community feeling that their events highlight. They will usually have a couple of outside vendors as well as open up orders from the venue they are hosting the event at. No matter what diet you follow you won’t ever need to worry about going hungry, they have you covered!
As for drinks, these guys offer up your quintessential daytime chill beverage selection. From beers to mixers, cocktails and then sometimes some extra little fun concoctions. Ticket and ID: you will need to arm yourself with both of these to be able to enter the event, so make you sure you don’t forget either or you’ll be missing out on the action!
Don’t remove your wristband! Make sure you keep your wristband on at all times, you will not be giving a new one if it is removed or damaged, don’t risk being refused entry!
Cash: bring cash to their events! Come prepared as you don’t know if there will be a cash machine nearby, not worth missing out on the fun to chase down an ATM!
SIM Card: if you’re one of those people who likes to stay connected and you’re worried about getting access to Wi-Fi then you should try to buy a Thai sim card before arriving at the festival because you won’t be able to get one there. You can get them from any 7-11 and some major supermarkets, you’ll need to have your passport on you to complete the purchase.
Stay Hydrated! drink plenty of water! It gets hot in Thailand, if you’re not used to it you’re more prone to dehydration, particualrly if you’re drinking. Don’t forget to look after your body!
Hand Fan: beat the heat by getting a hand fan going!
Ear Plugs: you’ll need to keep your ears protected! Long or repeated exposure to loud sounds can cause longterm damage to your eardrums, don’t risk ruining your hearing, think of all the music events you have yet to explore!
Sun cream and Bug Spray: these are usually outdoor events, bring sun cream and bug spray to avoid getting burnt or bitten, and to ensure you have a plesant and comfortable experience!
Miscellaneous: depending on where the event is being hosted you may need to arm yourself with different apparel. Keep your eyes peeled for information on their event pages!
